I love looking for pictures in stones (and clouds as well!) and cabbed piece of Owyhee picture jasper into a square to depict a hidden sea cove reminiscent of the coves found along the rocky coast of Oregon. I’ve given the stone a matte finish and added a silhouette of a whale as a reminder that many types of whales are on the endangered list, most specifically the North Pacific Right whale and critically endangered North Atlantic Right whale. I have to note here, that whales usually seen along the coast of the North Pacific are Gray whales, but the whale I’ve added here is a Sperm whale which is usually found in more temperate waters. Either way, he’s cute and I love him.
