Owyhee Jasper is mined on the border of eastern Oregon and western Idaho, but if you head west, there are dozens of rugged sea coves along the coast host to an abundance of wildlife and sea creatures. I cut a beautiful piece of Owyhee picture jasper to depict one of these sea coves, gave it a matte surface and added a silhouette of a whale seemingly heading into shallow waters to feed on some yummy krill and plankton.

Set in fine silver with a sterling silver back and 14k gold accents.
